Aqualand Maspalomas
Aqualand a bit north of Maspalomas is the largest water park in Gran Canaria. It is located quite close to most of the holiday resorts in Gran Canaria, but Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and San Agustin are the closest ones.
Aqualand is, undoubtedly, the perfect place for a fun, exciting and active day for the entire family. There are activities to suit all ages and tastes, from the small children to the family’s greatest daredevils.
The small children have their own area with a big splash pool. In the shallow water, there is a climbing frame, different climbing figures and several small, multi-coloured water slides. Parents can keep an eye on the little ones from the sun lounges by the pool.
Another large pool is the wave pool, where the wave machine starts up every hour. The wave pool is surrounded by the park’s lazy river and has the giant Twin Racer Turbolance water slide in the background. This is one of the largest water slides in Europe.
In addition to this, there are several water slides where most people can join. In some of them, several persons can race side by side against each other; in others, two or more people can ride together, and finally there are some for the daredevils.
And, of course, there are restaurants, ice-cream stands and small shops in Aqualand. It is also possible to keep your valuables in special safety lockers.
There are busses from Aqualand to the nearest holiday resorts, and there is also a special bus from Puerto Rico. The bus from Puerto Rico goes to Aqualand as well as the nearby Palmitos Park, which has the same owner.
